Y / G Rabbits ~ Chiya x Syaro Deck Tech

So with the new release of “Is the Order a Rabbit?” Weiss Schwarz set, I decided to come up with a Y/G Chiya x Syaro Deck Tech with comments and ratings on each card I would run. I also placed a range on the number of copies I would run which allows for tweaking later on with further testing. Without further ado, let us begin!

< < Level 3 >>

10049“Rabbit Ear Parka” Chiya
Number of Copies: 4
Card Rating: 5/5

Comment: First of all, this art looks amazing. Other than that, she is your end game beat stick with a base 9k + 2k (if you control 3+ other characters) + 2k (Syaro, Humble Girl) / 4k (if you have 2x Syaro, Humble Girl) = hitting 13k to 15k total power consistently; then you also have random power boosts from climaxes and climax combos which can let her cap at 18k power. She is also your card advantage and combos with the climax [The Two Childhood Friends] for clock kick finish.

10036Syaro, Ladylike Aura
Number of Copies: 2 ~ 4
Card Rating: 3/5

Comment: Again, the art looks amazing. Unfortunately, Syaro isn’t too amazing in terms of effect. However, she does provide a heal when needed and is a one-sided anti-backup, meaning your opponent cannot backup when battling her but you can. So, with a 9.5k base + 1k (if everything on board is either Syaro or Chiya) + 2k / 4k (Syaro, Humble Girl) = allows her to stay on board with a deadly 12.5k to 14.5k total power backed up with random power boosts from multiple sources.

< < Level 2 > >

10141Syaro, Humble Girl
Number of Copies: 2 ~ 3
Card Rating: 4/5

Comment: The art is amazing, I love it! Your level 2 game is pretty decent thanks to this card but far from anything overpowered. She works with the [Syaro in the Wood-Framed Town] at level 2 and being a support with 6k power is nothing to laugh at either if you decide to go on the offense.

10040Syaro in the Wood-Framed Town
Number of Copies: 2 ~ 3
Card Rating: 3/5

Comment: Meh, anime art is okay. She works with [Syaro, Humble Girl] as stated above for a efficient beat stick or wall at level 2 that can hit 12k to 14k. An interesting level 2 card design I want to test out and see where it takes me.

< < Level 1 > >

10142“My Pace” Chiya
Number of Copies: 3 ~ 4
Card Rating: 5/5

Comment: This art is really amazing as well, I just love simple backgrounds that fit the characters color scheme. A very simple effect, your Eri of the Rabbits, and just an outright efficient beater.

10034“Volleyball” Syaro
Number of Copies: 4
Card Rating: 4/5

Comment: Who doesn’t like Volleyball? Well, I don’t like Volleyball but her effect is just too good to pass. She hits the same numbers as [“My Pace” Chiya] on your own turn and combos with the climax [I~ Luv~ Valleyball~] that essentially draws you a card.

10058Chiya, Famous Quote?
Number of Copies: 2 ~ 3
Card Rating: 3/5

Comment: A wink and a fold-up fan that looks like a stretched pantie. This is essentially just a generic backup at Level 1, 2, & 3. The good thing about this backup is that its useful at all levels of the game.

10039“Waitress of Fleur de Lapin” Syaro
Number of Copies: 2 ~ 3
Card Rating: 2.5/5

Comment: That face though. Your 1/1 7.5k with hand encore. A beat stick that stays on board is a great card to play regardless of how simple the effect may be. And with the amount of constant draw and search the deck has to offer, there is no reason to not run this.

< < Level 0 > >

10033“Rabbit Ear Parka” Syaro
Number of Copies: 3 ~ 4
Card Rating: 5/5

Comment: No matter how many times I say the art is amazing, the art is just so god damn good! This Syaro is your standard no cost start of attack phase runner. And based on WS logic, a runner is always worth running…

10051Elegant Chiya
Number of Copies: 2 ~ 3
Card Rating: 3/5

Comment: Great artwork, simply elegant. This card is your clock bomb.

10050Chiya in the Wood-Framed Town
Number of Copies: 3 ~ 4
Card Rating: 2.5/5

Comment: I am not really a big fan of anime art because of how generic it looks. This Chiya is your clock brainstorm which is more or less your plus engine. She also works with backups or any other startup effects like [Syaro Feeling Happy] to boost any Syaro or Chiya character by 1k power. This power boost can make a huge difference at all stages of the game, allowing you to run over things you typically wouldn’t without the use of a climax.

10037Syaro Feeling Happy
Number of Copies: 2 ~ 3
Card Rating: 4/5

Comment: Either she is drunk as f*** or just downright getting high. Her  startup effect allows you to get any card from the top 2 cards of your deck. You can even get a climax card if you wanted too! Seriously, for 1 stock and a card, I am willing to get my Climax Combos any day.

10043“Winter Outfit” Syaro
Number of Copies: 2 ~ 3
Card Rating: 3/5

Comment: An overall good card but I would not suggest playing more than 2 or 3 copies of. Simply, because of the downside of not having any good attackers on the first turn if she fails the check. She is however, a great card that works alongside [Syaro Feeling Happy], [Chiya in the Wood-Framed Town], & [“Appealing to Be a Smart Big Sister” Chiya] for turn 1 shenanigans.

10060“Appealing to Be a Smart Big Sister” Chiya
Number of Copies: 2 ~ 3
Card Rating: 2/5

Comment: A wink and a face that looks all so wrong for an older man like myself. Your standard pay 1 stock, discard a card, search 1 character with Syaro or Chiya in name.

10137Mini Chiya with Tippy
Number of Copies: 0 ~ 3
Card Rating: 4/5

Comment: The only reason I would run this card is for the art. Other than that, she is just your standard 0/0 3.5k but only until the end of your opponent’s next turn.

10053Anko, Face of Ama Usa An Next to Chiya
Number of Copies: 0 ~ 2
Card Rating: 3/5

Comment: I personally like to run this as a tech card because of how derpy it looks. It is also your stock dump and your only method of retrieving anything that got sent to the waiting room. It scales with level, so there’s your balancing factor. And it is a card with Chiya in name, so there is your synergy.

10047I~ Luv~ Valleyball~
Number of Copies: 4
Card Rating: 4/5

Comment: Valleyball! 1k1 with wind!

10143The Two Childhood Friends
Number of Copies: 4
Card Rating: 4/5

Comment: ILLEGAL! 1k1 with treasure!
